All Souls Unitarian Church, 2952 S PeoriaACTION presents a special showing of the critically acclaimed film by Titus Jackson, who directed and wrote this chronicle of the decline of public education in our state as told by voices from the front lines: teachers.
Jackson will introduce this entertaining yet startling film that highlights the education funding crisis in our state and how it occurred. Attendees are invited to share their impressions of the film and their own stories in roundtable discussions afterward focused on what we can do to fix the situation.
A donation of $5 is requested. Refreshments will be available.
